Keeper of Treats

This little mini glass cake dome was just tooooooo
cute to pass up. I have been searching for the standard
size cake holder but this was lovely and I had to get it!
Perfect for mini cupcakes, macaroons and pastries.

These are somre really fun, cool and cute things I found for the
apartment. Now the big part is how to be cool and creative in using
them to decorate. I am trying to go with a feel that is very Middle Eastern but
not too over the top and tacky as I have seen with a lot of decor.
I have a few who are attempting to ruin my plans but I need to work around it.

Experiementing with fabrics!

I wish I wish I wish I still had a sewing machine. I have one
somewhere next door but think it either needs a presser foot
or the adaptor to run it. Lately I've been thinking of making some
great throw pillows and came across this beautiful fabric. I still have
not decided what I will do with it but the pattern is green and beautiful.
I also saw another green/white/black pattern fabric that I will go
back to get later. This looks really fun!

Yes more candle holders

I love candles and candle holders even more.
They make such lovely decorative pieces and
add a lot of character to a place.
Got these pieces at a charity shop in Plano
over the weekend. Now I need to clean them up,
desantize and probably paint over them. Could
have them looking brand new with a bit of black
paint. The little candle holder with the yellow
glass bottom is cute but cracked on one side but
it can be covered. Love the two tier candle holder
and will need to find a basic large size candle to
fit the larger holder.
The candle holder with the gold metal is really cute.
Love the glass even with that little chip uptop.
Got all these for about three bucks!

Spanish vases

I love collecting vases. They are neat and make great accent pieces for a room.
These two beauties came from an international shop in San Antonio. They're a simple Spanish design. I am thinking of buying clear marbles to place in the green one.

Versitile vases

This little vase I came across is very cute
and adds a great ethnic flare to a room.
I only bought one but will try to get more
later. Got it for a cool $2.00. Actually
it's a reed difuser but the look goes with
anything.
